This piece was a complete pleasure to make. I had physical materials (3 slightly varied sets of 4 identical square L beams in cardboard) and created a rule that all angular associations must be at least one of 0, 45, 90 or 135 degrees. The building process helped me build and solidify my process and personal theory of making art.

 Having complete control over the materials (not so with ceramic) enabled me to be both deliberate and inspired as was required -this is ideal. On theory, I emphasized the ratio of void:form and liking the piece from many angles. I t does pretty clea

On theory, I emphasized the ratio of void:form and liking the piece from many angles. I t does pretty clearly have a front, but it’s interesting from the sides and back too. Blue was the obvious color to choose. There is one slight mistake. Thank you.
